'Discharged' Kim Jeong-hoon, "Girl groups in the army are like energizers

Singer and actor Kim Jeong-hoon revealed how popular girl groups are in the army and they are energizers for the soldiers.

He was discharged from the army on the 28th in Seoul Yongsan National Defense Public Relations.

He was admitted into the army 2009 April as an active soldier then was a gunner in the GOP base, and had been serving as a star soldier in the National Defense Public Relations since January last year.

Showing up around 8 AM in the morning, he said, "I didn't know this before I went in there, but popularity of girl groups in the army is amazing. When Girl's Generation is on a music program, there is almost no one in the corridors.

He continued, "I thought how different the army was outside and inside. The girl groups are like energizers for soldiers".

When he was asked the question who he wanted to see the most, he said, "I was expecting a questions like this, but I like them all".

Meanwhile, this day despite the cold weather, about 150 or so national and Japanese fans came to see him a proved his Hallyu Stardom.

He will be actively going around starting off with a fan meeting in Japan on the 14th next month and one in Korea on the 10th of April.
