'Signal' actor Kim Won-hae joins Hwang Jung-min, So Ji-sub and Song Joong-ki for film 'The Battleship Island'

Kim Won-hae will star in movie "The Battleship Island". According to multiple sources in film industry on February 17th, Kim Won-hae will join Hwang Jung-min for the film, "The Battleship Island".

"The Battleship Island" by director Ryoo Seung-wan depicts the life-staking story of the around 400 Joseon Dynasty people who escaped from the The Battleship Island in Japan, where they were confined as forced laborers. Hwang Jung-min, So Ji-sub and Song Joong-ki have been confirmed for the cast so far.
"The Battleship Island" is preparing to begin filming and is slated to be open in 2017.
Kim Won-hae is currently starring tvN mystery crime show, "Signal" as a detective Kim Gye-cheol working with Cha Soo-hyeon (Kim Hye-soo) and Park Hae-yeong (Lee Je-hoon) in a cold case unit.
