'The Housemaid' Receives 3 Minute Standing Ovation After Its Gala Screening At Cannes

Gala screening of the Korean film "The Housemaid - 2010" which is in contention for the Palme d'Or was held at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival on Friday.
According to reports the film by director Im Sang-soo which tells the story of a married couple and their maid who has an affair with the husband received a three-minute standing ovation from the audience after its screening.
And the movie starring Cannes Best Actress Award winner, Jeon Do-yeon is also said to have received 2.2 points out of 4 from the prominent British film magazine Screen International which is not bad considering the highest point given so far is 3 points.
"The Housemaid - 2010" is a tale of passion, intrigue, betrayal and is centered around the pleasure of pure suspense.
