The movie "1987: When the Day Comes" came in at the top of the box office.

According to the Korean Film Commission, "1987" was screened in 1,120 theaters all over the country and drew in 410,729 audiences just on the 14th. The accumulated number since its release on the 17th of December last year is 5,786,988.
"1987: When the Day Comes" is based on the true story of a university student named Park Jong-chul who was killed in the process of police investigations. The breaking through of over 5 million audiences means a lot more as the 31st commemoration of the passing of Park Jong-chul was on the 14th.
