for characterization, jumong is much powerful. even the supporting casts play their roles powerfully.

in terms of girl-power material-ness, jumong is very higher than in hwangjini. in hwangjini, women---whether kisaeng or not, are regarded as weaker and of lower status due to strong influence of confucianism while in jumong, even women can enter business,

pontianak, just a piece of reminder: don't make anyone believe in what you said. jumong is not purely good looks and colorfulness...there are some stories that is of far valuable and can be applicable in everyday life

no wonder, jumong became a monster hit in Korea. Hwangjini is also beautiful but as far as highest ratings garnered is concerned, it is even defeated by Princess Hours
