Product Description

Jung-soo, an ordinary car dealer, is on his way home with a birthday cake for his daughter. As he drives into a tunnel, an unbelievable thing happens; the tunnel collapses on him. Minutes later hi realizes taht he is completely caught in between the debris. Outside, this breaking news creates media frenzy and a thoughtless reporter even airs a live phone interview with Jung-soo, using up his mobile phone batteris. An emergency response team is immediately organized to rescue him as it becomes a national conern, the government promises full support for the rescue.

    This is a really good movie and I just can't imagine being trapped in a tunnel for over 30 days and people want to stop trying to rescue you. I'm not going to give anything away but one of the staidest parts was the girl in the car. A must see.

If you are claustrophobic you may have some problems watching! :) Once again, Lorea has some phenomenal acting talent - they are hands down MUCH more talented than the CA narcissists. The storyline was fantastic. Would definitely recommend! TBH, we prefer to watch Asian movies now over anything released out of Hollyperv. The Asian talent is wonderful!

    TUNNEL peut être assimilé à un film catastrophe mais ici, il s'agit d'un film sud coréen et comme l'explique si bien le réalisateur dans les bonus, pas d'écran vert, des décors qui ont mis deux mois à être fabriqués, une ironie et un humour sousjacent (ha bon ! Personnellement, je trouve plutôt la situation du film dramatique). Très intéressants d'ailleurs les bonus du DVD : le réalisateur y parle de concept art pour son film, la présentation des personnages du film est faite de façon tout à fait loufoque, et cerise sur le gâteau dans la première VIP du film à SÉOUL, nous avons droit à une brève apparition de LANA WACHOWSKI (on ne sait pas trop pourquoi) avec un look et une coiffure complétement déjantés. Pour revenir au film proprement dit, il s'agit en fait de deux hommes, l'un à l'extérieur du tunnel qui va essayer par tous les moyens possibles de sauver l'autre homme qui a eu le malheur de passer dans ce maudit tunnel au mauvais moment. L'autre personnage principal du film est la femme de l'homme qui se trouve dans le tunnel (l'actrice d'ailleurs toujours dans les bonus nous parle comment elle a voulu appréhender son personnage, sans aucun maquillage et en restant le plus impavide possible). Les personnages politiques et les actionnaires du tunnel en prennent pour leur grade et plus encore les journalistes qui sont là pour épier les moindres faits et gestes des sauveteurs tout çà pour avoir leur buzz. Pour résumer, un film qui rappelle peut être certains autres films précédents du même genre mais que je recommande chaudement.
