Lee went to the Indonesian capital for a fan event as part of his Asian tour. The event went well, but local authorities later confiscated the passports of Lee and his staff.

"I was able to finish the fan meet with a thankful heart. But I am stuck in Jakarta with all the other staff since yesterday", Lee wrote in a Facebook post Monday.

"The local promoter Yes24 reported their profits falsely to the tax office, and that resulted in our passports being taken. We have no involvement in this at all. We ask yes2 and its agencies Cre8tive Lab and Yumetomo to resolve this issue quickly. I don't know what to do as this is first time for me to be in this kind of situation".

Lee's agency confirmed the story. "They were supposed to leave Jakarta on Sunday, but problems arose between the local branch of yes24 and Indonesian authorities", it said. But the Korean Embassy there was able to win their release on Tuesday morning.
