Actor Sung Dong-il praised Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho's acting in "The Legend of the Blue Sea".

Seong plays the role of Ma Dae-young, a killer who is assigned to get rid of Lee Min-ho.

Seong stated, "Viewers think that every time I appear, something big might happen. However, no real action will be happening anytime soon. I'm even curious to see how my character will unfold".

He also stated, "Jeon is truly a genuine actor. She is always at the set early and is so focused and determined when she does the mermaid acting portions. I respect her passion for acting".
