Actor Uhm Tae-woong Accused of Rape

Police said on Tuesday they are investigating accusations from a woman that actor Uhm Tae-woong sexually assaulted her.

The women, who is in her 30s, accuses Eom (42) of sexually assaulted her in the massage parlor where she worked in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province in January.

She reported the case to police last month.

Eom's agency denied the claim and said the actor will cooperate with the investigation.

He married ballerina Yoon Hye-jin in 2013 and the couple have a daughter.
