Actor Yoo Gun (Jo Jeong-ik) gives up his US citizenship and will be joining the army.

According to his management Sim Entertainment, he will be admitted into the Euijungbu 306 base on the 2nd.
He didn't have duty as a soldier as he was an American citizen, but he bravely gave up the citizenship and decided to join the army. He will be getting military training in Euijungbu then serve as a common soldier in the front.
Yoo Gun debuted in 2006 through the KBS 2TV drama "Hello, God" and made more appearances in dramas "Can't Stop Now", "Prosecutor Princess" and movies, "Dasepo Girl", "Mission Possible: Kidnapping Granny K" and "My Mighty Princess".
