Actress Choi Ji-woo Has 1st Child

Actress Choi Ji-woo welcomed her first child on Saturday.

"Choi gave birth to a baby girl. Both the mother and the baby are healthy", said her management agency YG Entertainment. "Choi is currently resting and recovering".

Choi enjoyed great popularity with the 2002 mega hit TV series "Winter Sonata", especially in Japan.

She married an IT businessman nine years her junior in a surprise private wedding in 2018.
