Actress Lee Si-young Fails to Join National Boxing Team

Actress Lee Si-young's dream of being selected to the national boxing team failed to materialize as she was defeated by teen boxer Park Cho-rong 10-4 in the final of the women's 48-kg category at the National Amateur Boxing Competition on Tuesday.

Lee, who at 165 centimeters enjoyed a considerable height and reach advantage throughout the competition, sustained several hits to her face from Park, the strongest puncher in their weight class and had to settle for second place.
