"Clear" follows the story of Zoo-young, who leaves the food-hungry planet and wanders in space, and her contra base, Pu-reum, who remains on Earth. Lee Zoo-young will leave another strong impression with sensuous and restrained acting as Zoo-young, who leaves the planet where plastic is the main food and wanders in space.
"Clear" is a new film by director Shim Hyeong-jun, who received attention for "My Dearest Fu Bao" and Choi Chan-min, the cinematographer of "Dark Nuns" added poetic visual beauty.
"Clear", which was officially invited to the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival's Korean Cinema Feature category, was recognized for its cinematic quality as it was also named as a 'selected film for domestic production screening support' at the 2025 International Maritime Film Festival. It will be first released on July 3rd through media and VIP previews.
Lee Zoo-young made her debut in 2015 with the short film "Bargain - Short" and received attention by winning the 14th Asian International Short Film Festival 'Face of the Independent Film Award' and the 10th Great Short Film Festival 'Great Actor Award'. Since then, she has consistently shown her acting spectrum with films such as "Believer", "Miss Baek", "Samjin Company English Class", "Voice", and "Phantom" and impressed with her role as Choon-ja (Floor 2), a character who can't stand injustice in the Netflix original "The 8 Show".
Lee Zoo-young, who has digested various genres in her own color, is expected to convey another endless transformation and heavy lingering effects to the audience through "Clear".
Lee Zoo-young plans to continue her active activities with her next films such as "Genie, Make a Wish" and JTBC drama "Waiting for Gyeongdo".
