Actress Sues Oriental Medicine Clinic for W1 Billion

Actress Shin Eun-kyung is suing an oriental medicine clinic for W1 billion in damages for violating her portrait rights and privacy (US$1=W1,142).

According to the Seoul Central District Court on Wednesday, Shin turned to the clinic for swelling of her jaw after bimaxillary plastic surgery in June last year but the treatments proved ineffective.
However, doctors at the clinic posted ads on the Internet without her permission featuring her photo and treatment process.
Shin (39) says the swelling went down after she went to another oriental medicine clinic.
