Ahn Hee-yeon of girl group EXID will make her acting debut with the web-based drama "XX" set for release in January next year.

The drama deals with a story about a speakeasy and its customers.
Ahn Hee-yeon takes on the role of a bartender, who looks cold but has a warm heart inside.
"I'm nervous, as I am trying something new which is a challenge for me. But I'm also excited for the drama, through which I expect I will learn a lot. I will do my best to make it memorable", she said.
