Well, times have changed and so have our stories. K-Drama females are more bold and know what they want. Especially when it comes to love. They no longer shy around and wait. But it would open their heart to the one they love.
We have collected and hand-picked the best of them. The female lead who made the first move and created an iconic example. Here are the top 3 female leads in K-Dramas who made the first movie.
Ban Ji-eum - "See You In My 19th Life"
Ban Ji-eum (Shin Hye-sun) is the most determined lover indeed. Ever since, she began to remember her past lives. Her 19th life had only one motive. To meet Moon Seo-ha (Ahn Bo-hyun). She had met Seo-ha in her 18th. Their mothers were friends, and at that time, Seo-ha's mother was incredibly sick. Joo-won (aka Ban Ji-eum) became his shelter, even after his mother's death. He soon found himself falling for him even, even though he was just a kid.But their love story came to a brutal end when Joo-won died in a car accident. When she is reincarnated, she becomes determined not to let this story end and not end on a sad note. She approaches Seo-ha pompously and confesses her life ever since they met. She never hid it! In fact, she openly declared that she would be doing everything to persuade Seo-ha.We have seen men making their women blush, but Ji-eum manages to make Seo-ha flustered every time. Its as if the roles have switched. "See You In My 19th Life " has given a charismatic female lead and an adorably flustered male lead.

Go Moon-yeong - "It's Okay to Not Be Okay"
The most iconic character in the history of K-Dramas. Moon-yeong (Seo Yea-ji) will have a hold on the fandom in 2020. She was smart, cunning and oh-so blunt. She openly expressed her desire for Moon Gang-tae (Kim Soo-hyun). Even if it wasn't love in the beginning. She claimed to feel attracted and wanted to spend a night with him.She really believed in freedom of speech, and that makes her an example.

Woo Young-woo - "Extraordinary Attorney Woo"
One might mistakes Young-woo (Park Eun-bin) as frail, but she is far more brave and independent than one might think. Especially when it comes to thinking or decision making. Even though it was Lee Joon-ho (Kang Tae-oh) who began to feel the attraction first, he failed to realise it. It was Young-woo who made the first move. After she begins suspecting Tae-oh's moves, she confronts him immediately. In a unique way at that. She catches him off guard in a cham-cham game and asks if he likes her. She shines throughout the drama, not only in court but also in their relationship. She wilderingly steps out of her discomfort for him and, even when ending their relationship, she had an understandable reason. She was afraid that she wasn't serving in the relationship much.
