Animation industry's total 2005 sales revenue reaches KRW 221 billion

According to the <2006 Animation Industry White Paper>, published by the Korea Culture and Content Agency (KOCCA, CEO: Seo, Byung-Moon), the total sales revenue of the animation industry in 2005 reached KRW 221.012 billion.
The revenues from "creativity and production" comprised the lion's share at KRW 162.074 billion (73:3%), followed by "production support" at KRW 31.784 billion (14.4%), "distribution" at KRW 16.859 billion (7.6%), "simple reproduction" at KRW 5.804 billion (2.6%), and others at KRW 4.491 billion (2.0%).
