[Reporter : ] Hello Conn-young
So what do you have for us today[Reporter : ] I've already talked about how much I loved watching "The Avengers
", so I'm very excited to introduce to you guys new comic book superhero films that are being released this summer. Take a look at this.
As the mercury rises this summer, comic book superheroes are returning to the cinema to help movie-goers fight off the heat.
"The Avengers" kicks off the season combining IronMan, The Hulk, Thor, and Captain America, together in one blockbuster.
Christian Bale will lead the action once again as Batman in "The Dark Knight Rises" in July.
Spiderman is also making a comeback with the 4th movie in the series called "The Amazing Spiderman" with Andrew Garfield taking on the role of the hero.
[Interview : Bob Tourtellotte, Editor
Reuters Entertainment] "We have Andrew Garfield taking over the franchise from Tobey Maguire, a little bit of an unknown there, although that said, these movies do really well in the summer because boys are in theaters and boys like Spider-Man".
It is not just comic book superhero films though, also hitting the big screen is Sacha Baron Cohen's "The Dictator", one of the year's most anticipated comedies.
Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta Jones, and Russell Brand all star in the film, "Rock of Ages", based on the Broadway hit of the same name.
And although it seems like male actors are taking over the big screen, there will be powerful performances by actresses as well.
Kristen Stewart stars in "Snow White and the Huntsman" and battles it out with Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen. Also, Pixar's "Brave" will introduce its first lead female animated character, a Scottish red-headed warrior.
Also, films such as "What to Expect When You're Expecting", with Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, and other comedic actresses, and "Hope Springs" with Meryl Streep will also bring laughter to local theaters.

[Reporter : ] Not all of the movies have been scheduled to be released in Korea just yet, but The Dark Night Rises will be released in July, The Amazing Spiderman is set to be released on July 3rd and Snow White and The Huntsman will be released on May 31st in Korea.
Look at all of these movies from different genres! I feel like our summer will never be boring with all of these movies being released.
[Reporter : ] Definitely. I am already excited for the Batman and Spiderman series to come out. July just seems too far. And also for the movies that have not been scheduled to be released in Korea just yet, I hope we can see those in theaters very soon.
I hope so too. Rock of Ages sound like the kind of movie I would like to watch. Moving on, what other plans can we make for the summer[Reporter : ] I have a series of concerts for the young and old to go and enjoy.
