"Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" Begins Filming Late This Year

TvN drama "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" is getting ready to begin filming this year and is currently in the process of discussing the PD, actors and broadcasting period.

Studio Dragon, the production company of "Arthdal Chronicles" revealed on the 14th that "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" aims to begin its making process towards the end of the year.

Meanwhile, "Arthdal Chronicles" drew attention last year as the first the first fantasy drama set in the ancient world made in Korea, and it was a mega blockbuster that cost more than 50 billion won, estimated to be the largest production cost ever.

It was written by Park Sang-yeon and Kim Yeong-hyeon from "Deep-rooted Tree" and helmed by PD by Kim Won-seok from "Signal" and "Misaeng: Incomplete Life". The cast included Song Joong-ki, Jang Dong-gun, Kim Ji-won and other top stars.
