Singer Baek Ji-young delivered her first child on Monday.

"Baek gave birth to a baby girl and both mother and baby are healthy", said Baek's management agency in a press release on Monday.

Baek married actor Jung Suk-won, who is nine years her junior, in June 2013.

She suffered a miscarriage the same year, so her health had been a particular concern during her recent pregnancy.
