Actor Baek Sung-hyun has been cast for the jTBC drama "Queen Insoo".

He takes on the role of General Soo Yang's son, Do Won-goon.
Centered around Queen Insoo, who becomes daughter-in-law to General Soo Yang with the dream of becoming a Queen, this drama will draw out the conflicts between her, Yoon and Empress Jeong-hee, the first Queen of the dynasty.
Baek Sung-hyung's role of Do Won-goon is born between General Soo Yang (Kim Young-ho) and Empress Jeong-hee (Kim Mi-sook) and he gets married to Queen Insoo (Chae Shi-ra). Unlike his father, he is humane and careful with a deep erudition and a wide vision of looking at the world which makes him a role model for the people.
Also, Baek Sung-hyun strikes a romance with Ham Eun-jung, who plays the young Queen Insoo.
"Queen Insoo" will air in mid December.
