Best Hidden Parks for Picnics in Seoul

There are many great places in Seoul for a picnic including the Han River, Olympic Park and Seoul Forest, but some are still not known to many. Here are a few to check out this summer.

Yongsan Park offers a wide open grass field and a path leading to the National Museum of Korea, making it a great place for kids.

Dream Forest, formed in the area where an amusement park used to be, is a good place for camping as shade canopies are allowed from May to October.

Located in the middle of the Han River, Seonyudo Park has many interesting structures and offers a great view.

Lastly, Samgak Forest, or triangle forest, is located at Seoul Women's University. The triangle shaped park became popular after it was featured in "The Innocent Man", a TV series starring Song Joong-ki in 2012.
