"Big Bet", Choi Min-sik's First Drama in 25 Years

Actor Choi Min-sik confessed that he missed long-term operation dramas.

On the morning of the 14th, a production presentation for Disney+ "Big Bet" was held at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Choi Min-sik, Son Sukku, Lee Dong-hwi, Heo Sung-tae, Kim Joo-ryoung, Son Eun-seo, Ryu Hyun-kyung and Kang Yoon-sung attended the meeting.
On this day, Choi Min-sik said, "I missed this" about appearing in a drama for the first time in 25 years.
"There is always a density of movies, but it is a genre with a burden of two hours. I always had regrets", he said. "I missed such a series where I could tell and express everything I wanted to say with a lot of ease".
He also said of Cha Moo-sik, the character he plays, "Cha Moo-sik is an ordinary person. After chasing his desires severely, he learns the world of casinos without even realizing it. He meets a lot of people there".
"Big Bet" is an intense story about a man who becomes the king of casinos after many twists and turns, risking his life and survival to return to the game after losing everything in a series of events. It will be released on December 21st on Disney+.
