First of all, Go Jeong-woo (Byun Yo-han), who became an ex-convict for murdering two friends 11 years ago, is surrounded by unknown hands and his eyes and ears are covered. "I don't remember killing him. But I don't even remember not killing him" implies the frustrating feeling of Go Jeong-woo, who cannot confirm his innocence due to his missing memories.

Detective No Sang-cheol (Ko Jun), who pursues the truth of the murder case 11 years ago while suspecting Go Jeong-woo, is blindfolded with his own hand and looking at the situation with only one eye. The scar engraved on his forehead gives an idea of his tough detective life. The flashing eyes and the phrase "You... killed someone. Actually, two" shows distrust for Go Jeong-woo, an ex-murder convict.

On the other hand, top star Choi Na-gyeom (Go Bo-gyeol), who has a crush on Go Jeong-woo, expresses a dangerous pure love towards him, saying, "He's my first love. I don't care if he killed someone". Choi Na-gyeom's meaningful pose, which blocks her sweet lips with her fingers as if she is about to say something, gives a hunch that something is hidden in her.

On the other hand, Ha Seol (played by Kim Bo-ra), a stranger who flows into the Mucheon village, asks a sharp question, "Are you pretending to not remember, or was it not Go Jeong-woo who killed?" She also shows a strong side of refusing the hands trying to cover her ears, drawing keen attention to whether Ha Seol can find a secret hidden in the village.

As such, "Black Out" expresses the inner feelings of the characters who dig into the whole story of the murder on their own through character posters. In particular, the various temperature differences between No Sang-cheol, Choi Na-gyeom, and Ha Seol, which lead to hostile or friendly relations centered on Go Jeong-woo, stimulate the reasoning of what the whole story of the murder would be hidden over their hands.

MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Black Out" is a backtracking crime thriller about a young man who becomes a murder convict after being named the culprit of a mysterious murder case in which the body has not been found, revealing the truth of the day 10 years later. It will premiere at 9:50 PM on August 16th.
