Bong Joon-ho almost killed himself before "The Host"

Director Bong Joon-ho went through some hardships while preparing for the movie "The Host".

Actor Kim Soo-hyun narrated this show which spread out the story of Bong Joon-ho who created the movie "Snowpiercer" and his experience filming it all over the Czech Republic and Prague.

Bong Joon-ho said, "There's a studio called Weta Digital known for "The Lord of the Rings". We were working with it for CG in "The Host" but fell through for money. I was going to kill myself then".

"It was already reported that "The Host" was in the making process. I wondered what to do. I felt like a fraud. I studied about Hollywood computer graphics. I piled up books to study. Nothing happens automatically. I had to pour my energy into every shot".
