Bong Joon-ho Films Become Academic Set Texts in U.S.

Four movies by Bong Joon-ho have been selected as set texts at Georgia Institute of Technology.
Bong's hit films "Memories of Murder" (2003), "The Host" (2006), "Mother - 2009" (2009) and "Parasite" (2019) will be included on the syllabus of the university's modern Korean history course.
The decision follows growing international interest in the director after "Parasite" won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival last year and was nominated for the Golden Globe and Academy awards.

"Parasite" is directed by Bong Joon-ho, and features Song Kang-ho, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Choi Wooshik, Park So-dam, Lee Jung-eun. Release date in Korea: 2019/05/30.
