The tour kicked off at the same venue in February and visited 19 cities in 11 countries including Brazil, China, Japan and the U.S.

Their 40 concerts attracted 550,000 fans around the world, while 60,000 attended the last three Seoul concerts alone, including many global fans -- Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and English were all heard in the crowd.

Many fans uploaded picture and videos of the boys from the concerts in real time on social media for the benefit of those who couldn't make it.

BTS became an international sensation during the tour, winning the Top Social Artist award at the Billboard Awards in May, and performing at the American Music Awards in November.

Their new single "MIC Drop", which was released on Nov. 24, reached No. 28 on the Hot 100, Billboard's most important singles chart and the standard for the music industry. It is the highest ranking single for a Korean act since PSY's "Gangnam Style".
