On the 11th, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Black Out" released still cuts of Byun Yo-han.
"Black Out" is a backtracking crime thriller about a young man who becomes a murder ex-convict after being named the culprit of a mysterious murder in which the body has not been found, revealing the truth of the day 10 years later.
In the drama, Byun Yo-han plays the role of Go Jeong-woo, a suspect in a murder case that caused a stir in the Mucheon village. Go Jeong-woo is a talented student who is about to pass a prestigious medical school because he is good at sports and studies. He has a loyal and friendly personality and is innocent like other teenagers, but he longs for the life of an adult by drinking alcohol without his parents knowing after taking the college entrance exam.
However, the deviation that he had dreamed of freedom soon became the worst shackle that would hold him back. He is suspected as a heinous killer who suddenly killed two of his friends after being blacked out for drinking too much. He was sent to prison for the incident, which he doesn't not remember no matter how hard he tries, and he seeks out the truth of 11 years ago in order to return his life that has fallen into the gutter.
The released photo shows the past years of Go Jeong-woo, who became a terrible killer overnight, and his difficult life. Unlike 11 years ago, when he stood in the defendant's seat in a prison uniform that did not match his young face and looked as if the world had collapsed, Go Jeong-woo's face is full of tough energy.
In particular, Go Jeong-woo's sparkling eyes, while unfolding the paper in the middle of the table and opening it in detail, make him even more curious about his thoughts. Indeed, curiosity grows as to whether Go Jeong-woo is the killer who killed two of his friends in the past, which has been completely erased, and what is the true nature of the murder that destroyed his life.
At the same time, the past and present of Go Jeong-woo, who will experience great upheaval in his life, will be depicted with more immersion with Byun Yo-han's infinite acting spectrum. From his pure high school days to a 30-year-old young man who is enduring the devastating waves, Byun Yo-han is expected to express 11 years of experience without any sense of alienation and maximize the emotions of the character.
"Black Out" will air on August 16th, where Byun Yo-han's arduous journey to find hidden clues in his blacked-out memories will take place.
