Cast for "Yeongasi" family confirmed

The family members that Kim Myung-min will strive to protect from the horrific worms in his newest film project, "Yeongasi" have been cast.
MY Entertainment, Kim Myung-min's agency confirmed that the actor, who will play pharmaceutical agent Jae Hyuk, will be joined by Moon Jeong-hee in the disaster movie. The 37-year-old actress will play Kyung Sun, Jae Hyuk's wife. Her last movie was "Troubleshooter" (2010) with Sul Kyung-gu and Oh Dal-soo, and she will soon be seen in upcoming TV drama "A Thousand Days' Promise" (2011).
The couple has two adorable children. Uhm Ji-sung (born 2003) will play the role of the son, Junwoo, while Yeom Hyun-seo (born 2005) will be the daughter, Yeji.
Two other main characters of the movie - Jae Pil, the younger brother of Jae Hyuk, and Yun Ju, Jae Pil's fiancee, have also been confirmed. The names of the actors will be released soon.
"Yeongasi" tells about a man's desperate struggle to save his family from an outbreak of deadly, parasitic hairworms ravaging the city. Park Jeong-woo ("Big Bang", 2007; "Dance With The Wind", 2004) wrote the screenplay and will direct the movie. Filming will commence on October 25 for an early 2012 release.
