Celebrities to Donate Personal Items to Charity Auction

Celebrities will donate their personal items to an auction to help children in need.

K Auction said on Wednesday that it will hold an online charity auction on its website (www.k-auction.com) next Tuesday.

Former figure skater Kim Yu-na will put up a pair of skates with her autograph on them and golfer Park In-bee a putter of the same model she used during the Rio Olympics. Singer Lee Seung-chul will donate a guitar and actor Bae Yong-joon a bottle of wine specially produced for him.

Bids start at W100,000 for Kim's skates and W300,000 for the other three items (US$1=W1,135).

Other items include men's suits from actor Kim Woo-bin, a handbag from actress Park Shin-hye and an autographed jersey from footballer Ki Sung-yueng.
