Cha Chung-hwa Joins "The Haunted Palace"

Actor Cha Chung-hwa will join SBS' new drama "The Haunted Palace".

On the 5th, the production team of "The Haunted Palace" said, "Cha Chung-hwa has confirmed her appearance".

"The Haunted Palace" is a fantasy rom-com in which Lee Ji-won, a shaman who rejects the fate of becoming a medium, and Lee Ji-won, who is trapped in the body of Lee Ji-won's first love Yoon Gab (Yook Sung-jae), are confronted with a spirit that has a grudge against the royal family and his body and soul are tightly twisted. Yook Sung-jae, Kim Ji-yeon, and Kim Ji-hoon-I have previously confirmed their appearances.

In this drama, Cha Chung-hwa plays Yeong-geum, the mother of Yoon Gab. Born to a poor family, Yeong-geum went to a house of noblemen, but she was forced out of her mother's house at a young age due to her husband's death and changed her mind as she did all sorts of bad things to survive with her son.

Cha Chung-hwa has performed a wide range of acting in several works, including dramas "Crash Landing on You", "Mr. Queen", "Beyond Evil", "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha", "Why Her?", "Kokdu: Season of Deity", and "Song of the Bandits", drawing attention to what kind of character she will take on in "The Haunted Palace".
