Cho Jung-seok's starring role, "Captivating the King", will open tvN next year.

This drama is a story about Yi In (Cho Jung-seok), a king who is in a high position but has a poor heart, and Kang Hee-soo (Shin Se-kyung), who dreams of revenge but falls in love with him. Hee-soo meets Yi In while making a reputation as an 'unknown betting go player' and becomes a spy who hides his identity and secretly finds out secrets or situations and provides information.
This is Lee Sin-young's first historical drama challenge. He is portrayed as Kim Myeong-ha, who keeps Yi In in check. He is the son of Kim Jong-bae, a maternal soldier, and has both literary and martial arts. When he continues to be rejected by his adoring Hee-soo, he makes an irreversible choice. Park Ye-young is a court lady Dong who serves the two kings. As a royal power, he longs for her heart.
Director Jo Nam-gook of "The Good Detective" and "The Good Detective - Season 2" and writer Kim Seon-deok of "The Crowned Clown" (2019) will make it. The first broadcast in January next year.
