CL's Single Debuts on U.S. Billboard Chart

CL of girl group 2NE1 debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 with her first English-language single, "Lifted", which ranked 94th in this week's Billboard rankings.

This is the first time that a Korean female singer has made an entry on the U.S. chart.

Previously, Wonder Girls' "Nobody" ranked 76th on the chart in 2009, and PSY's "Gangnam Style" climbed to No. 2 and maintained the spot for seven weeks in 2012.

CL released her first single in the U.S. in August.

She is set to embark on a tour making a stop in nine cities in North America from late this month.
