Her outspoken manner and provocative style often create controversy and her latest film, "Casa Amor, Exclusive for Ladies", has also drawn all kinds of reactions as she plays the owner of a sex toy business.

The film, which also stars Cho Yeo-jeong, is an adaptation of the Brazilian flick "Upside Down" about a successful career woman who enters a joint venture with a neighbor after being fired.

How does she cope with malicious comments from the public?

"I just think of them as outbursts of fleeting emotions", she said.

"I can't be liked by everyone. I guess in a way it gives me an opportunity to see things from the opposite side and reflect on myself. I don't like getting compliments all the time. They don't help me improve".
