Synopsis: In-yeong, a 32-year-old housewife, discovers a cafe that she finds comfortable to be in on her own, and becomes a regular customer. At the cafe, she meets Hee-soo, a 39-year-old carpenter, who suggests In-yeong to be "Coffee Mates", friends who meet only at that cafe. They don't meet outside, no phone calls or texting either. Through a relationship that started out like a joke, the cafe becomes subjective time and place for them, separating them from reality.
