It's been 6 years since the late actress Kim Ja-ok passed away.

The actress passed away on the 26th of November in 2014 after a long struggle with cancer at the age of 63.
Born in 1951, Kim Ja-ok debuted as an actress in 1970 through MBC and had an active career for 40 years.
The late Kim Ja-ok won the Best Actress Award in the TV category of Baeksang Arts Awards for the drama "Su Sun-hwa" written by Kim Su-hyun in 1975, and even won the Best Actress Award in the film category of Baeksang Arts Awards for starring in director Byeon Jang-ho's "Normal Woman" in 1976, forming the 1970s troika along with Kim Young-ae and Han Hye-sook.
She made her debut as a singer at the recommendation of Tae Jin-ah in 1996, and was called a princess by many, making a hit with "Princess Is Lonely". In 2013, she also went on an overseas backpack trip with fellow actors Youn Yuh-jung, Kim Hee-ae and Lee Mi-yeon on tvN's entertainment program "Sister Over Flowers" which was loved by viewers for her elegant appearance as the 'original princess'.
She was a passionate actress who was on TV and drama as well as theater plays even while she was fighting for her life.
