Concept Korea SS12 during New York Fashion Week

Concept Korea SS12 was held in New York at the Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center on 9th of September.

It was the official event of New York Fashion Week and started with fashion presentations from top 5 Korean designers such as Doho, Son Jung Wan, Steve J & Yoni P, Lee Sang-bong Paris, Resurrection. Lots of international media and fashion celebrities from the industry like Jay Bell, Simon Collins, J. Alexander etc. have attended.

Vanessa Hudgens said "It was a great opportunity to experience show cases from Korea's top designers through Concept Korea. It was very interesting and saw cool collections beyond Designers' limitation. Total of 531 guests were in the event.

Steven Kolb from CFDA(Council of Fashion Designers of America) said "These top 5 Korean designers harmonized the beauty of Korea with modern sensitivity instead of asserting the beauty of Korea in front. That made us being fascinated to them and never felt boring during the entire event at all".

Son Jung Wan, One of designers, said "It was honor to me attending the great event as one of designers from Korea as well as meeting up with the industry leaders in New York. I check the possibilities being success in New York with Korean fashion and feel worthy to keep challenging.

Concept Korea SS12 will keep on until 23rd of September at the sales showroom. The showroom is operated by Estarise and supporting Biz matching with local buyers. The pressday will be held 20th and 21st of September as well.
