Crime Caper Dominates Chuseok Box Office

The crime action film "The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos" turned out to be a box office winner during last week's Chuseok holiday.

It reached the 2-million-viewer mark four days after its release last Wednesday, drawing some 2.67 million moviegoers by Sunday, according to the Korean Film Council.

The flick is a spin-off of the popular TV series "Bad Guys", which aired in 2014.

It stars Kim Ah-joong and Ma Dong-seok and revolves around criminals recruited to catch other crooks.

"The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos" is directed by Son Yong-ho, and features Ma Dong-seok, Kim Sang-joong, Kim Ah-joong, Jang Ki-yong, Park Hyo-joon, Kim In-woo. Release date in Korea: 2019/09/11.
