"Dear.M" Checking Facts About Broadcasting Schedule for 2022

On the 11th, an official from KBS2 drama "Dear.M" announced on Sports Today that it was 'checking facts' regarding word of failure to air in 2022.

Earlier, a media outlet reported that the scheduling of "Dear.M" was put on hold in 2022, and that it would be difficult to broadcast in the first half of this year.

"Dear.M" was scheduled to premiere on February 26th last year as a follow-up Friday drama to "Imitation". However, suspicions of school violence against Park Hye-soo, who played the lead role in the play, were raised through an online community.

Park Hye-soo strongly denied allegations of school violence, but it was controversial that several netizens claimed to have been victims online. Accordingly, KBS canceled all scheduled broadcasts of "Dear.M" and postponed the programming.

In addition, Park Hye-soo's agency, Studio Santa Claus, announced legal action and filed a complaint in March 2021. Regarding Park Hye-soo's alleged school violence, the police are still investigating her.
