"Decoy", Jang Keun-suk's Return in 5 Years

"Decoy" is a crime thriller that tracks the secrets surrounding a criminal eight years after his death as the criminal of the largest fraud case in history, when he is named a suspect in a murder case.

Jang Keun-suk plays the role of Goo Do-han, a homicide detective, in "Decoy". Goo Do-han seems to be moderately secular and compromising in reality, but when investigating a murder case, he is more passionate and persistent than anyone else. While investigating a mysterious murder case, he finds out that the case is related to the fraud criminal No Sang-cheon who died eight years ago, and digs into the hidden truth.

In the character still released, the dramatic visual changes between the past and the present can be seen. Goo Do-han was a lawyer specializing in corporate lawsuits in the past, but he became a homicide detective for some reason. The two stills show a stark contrast between lawyer Goo Do-han and detective Goo Do-han. In particular, his face with a shaggy beard in the current still shows a toughness and deep charisma that is different from the sweet look that fans remember from five years ago. It also arouses curiosity, guessing that something serious has happened from his intense eyes.

Coupang Play series "Decoy" will be released twice a week from January 27th and Part 1, which consists of a total of six episodes, will be introduced first. Part 2 will be released in the first half of 2023.
