KBS Joy's "Sorry not Sorry" is the beginning of a new town for a single female Ji Song-yi (Jeon So-min), who breaks up her marriage overnight and works part-time to pay off the interest on her newlywed house loan. Ji Song-yi disguises herself as a married woman to fight off the bravado and territoriality of mothers in the new town.
Gong Min-jung plays Choi Ha-na, a working mom in the new town. She wears leggings, enjoys 'Miracle Mornings' at 5 AM, and documents everything in Excel. She had been friends for 10 years with Ji Song-yi, but they grow apart due to an incident.
Jang Hee-ryung is Ahn Chan-yang, a ceramic workshop teacher. She is the standard of a 'new town woman', boasting a slender body and innocent appearance. She is innocent to the brain, she is clumsy, kind of dumb and has a social media addiction.
"Sorry not Sorry" will be directed by Min Ji-young-I of "Bitch X Rich" (2023) and writer Jo Yoo-jin-I of "Pilot" (2024). It will premiere on December 5th, and will also be available on Netflix.
