JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Doctor Slump" released a teaser poster on Wednesday. The two portray themselves as rivals of the same age. It contains the tension between each other.
Competition has been revealed. Nam Ha-neul (Park Shin-hye) and Yeo Jeong-woo (Park Hyung-sik) in their school uniforms make significant faces at each other. There is a slight tension between the two.
It raises curiosity as a special relationship. On the side of the poster is a message that says, "There are no two suns under the sky, and there are no two No. 1s in the school". It implies that they are rivals.
"Doctor Slump" is a romantic comedy. Former school rivals Nam Ha-neul (Park Shin-hye) and Yeo Jeong-woo (Park Hyung-sik) meet again in their darkest days. They renew their failed lives.
Park Hyung-sik plays the role of Yeo Jeong-woo. He is a famous plastic surgeon who struggles in the worst slump of his life after a mysterious medical accident.
Park Shin-hye plays Nam Ha-neul, an anesthesiologist. She has devoted herself to study and work for decades. Eventually, she contracts burnout syndrome. She looks back on herself and pledges change.
The rom-com Dream Team is set to participate. Director Oh Hyeon-jong will show off his delicate directing skills following "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo". He will join hands with Baek Seon-woo, who wrote "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim".
"Doctor Slump" asked for expectations, "Please watch the past narratives of Nam Ha-neul and Yeo Jeong-woo, who have been entangled in the hate relationship since their first meeting in their most brilliant days".
Meanwhile, "Doctor Slump" will premiere on January 27th next year.
