"The Priests" Lee Nam-hee Passes

Actor Lee Nam-hee has passed away at the age of 64.

According to the bereaved family, on the 22nd, Lee Nam-hee died at around 5 PM that day after battling a chronic illness. It is known that he had continued to prepare for stage performances until recently, never losing his passion for acting.

Born in 1962, he made his debut in 1983 with the play " Antigone ". He went on to build a strong foundation in theater through productions such as "A Streetcar Named Desire", "Othello", "Faust", and "Death of a Salesman". His talent was widely recognized, earning him awards including the Best Actor Award from the Korea Theater Association in 1998, the Best Actor Award at the Korea Theater Awards in 2011, and the Acting Award at the Dong-A Theater Awards in 2012.

In addition to theater, he also appeared in films and dramas such as "The Priests", "Six Flying Dragons", and "The Frog", showcasing his versatility across different media.

The funeral altar was set up in Room 15 of Severance Hospital. The funeral procession was scheduled for the 24th.
