Actor Lee Ji-hoon will appear in the new KBS historical epic drama "Great King Munmu".

According to a representative from Lee Ji-hoon's side on March 10, they confirmed the news to Newsen.
Scheduled to air in the second half of this year on KBS2, the new historical drama "Great King Munmu" (directed by Kim Yeong-jo and Goo Sung-joon / written by Kim Ri-heon and Hong Jin-yi / produced by KeyEast and Monster Union) will depict the grand story of how the small kingdom of Shilla ultimately unified the Three Kingdoms, overcoming powerful nations such as Goguryeo, Baekje, and even Tang China.
Director Kim Yeong-jo, who previously helmed dramas such as "Woman of 9.9 Billion", "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth", Jang Yeong-sil, and "Jing Bi-rok" will collaborate with writer Kim Ri-heon, the winner of the 2021 KBS Drama Script Contest in the miniseries category. Together, they aim to present a dramatic and lonely epic about leaders who risk everything in pursuit of a single victory during the Three Kingdoms era.
Actors Lee Hyun-wook-I, Jang Hyuk, Kim Kang-woo, Park Sung-woong, Jung Woong-in, and Cho Seong-ha have also been confirmed for the cast, raising high anticipation among viewers.
