According to a report by MyDaily on the 4th, Jung Kyung-ho and Jeon Yeo-been will star as the leads in the upcoming drama "Romance That Lasts".

Jung Kyung-ho will play Na I-joon, the star anchor of a television newsroom. Raised in an ordinary middle-class family, he achieved a perfect score on Korea's college entrance exam and became the youngest news anchor, an extraordinary accomplishment. However, at forty, he begins to suffer from early-onset male menopause, causing his self-esteem to plummet.

Jeon Yeo-been will portray Seo Hae-yoon, a scriptwriter in the newsroom. Having spent more than ten years moving between various broadcasting stations, she has gained a reputation as a "lowbrow writer" obsessed with ratings, known for handling sensational and gossip-driven news stories. Hot-tempered and easily tired of overthinking, she's the type who can't even play the push-and-pull of dating with a man for more than half a day.

"Romance That Lasts" tells the story of a man and a woman who claim to be immune to temptation in their forties, yet end up irresistibly drawn to each other. Having barely tasted either the richness of life or the thrill of romance by the time they reach forty, the two unexpectedly find love later in life. While trying to revive a last-place news program, a star anchor suffering from early menopause and a scrappy writer who used to be his rival end up rekindling each other's long-dormant 'love cells'.

The drama will be produced by How Pictures and directed by Lee Chang-min-I, known for works such as "Agency" on JTBC and CASHERO on Netflix.
