Entertainer will.i.am Comes To Town

will.i.am has the love. The multi-talented musician, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, is in Korea for a few days.

[Reporter : Lee Connie connie@arirang.co.kr] "Not only is he here to influence the music industry, he's also here to empower young people".

On Wednesday afternoon, the entertainer was at the U.S. Ambassador's residence in Seoul to encourage young people and share his advice on how to overcome adversities.
Organized by the U.S. Embassy, the event gathered more than 70 students of different backgrounds to hear will.i.am speak about his road to success.

[Interview : Kim Eun-ji, Attendee] "As a student, I just graduated, and it's a great honor to be here and attend the seminar with will.i.am. I think he's not only a great singer, but also an influential person to the world".

While here, will.i.am has also been working with Korean artists like 2NE1.
He said that it's only a matter of time when Korean pop music will reach all parts of the world.

[Interview : will.i.am, Singer/Producer] "You know with Korean fashion, and Korean technology, I think it's time for Korean groups to be big everywhere".

will.i.am said this was his sixth visit to Korea and added that he sees more trips here in the future.
