Boy band EXO's first full-length Japanese album has topped Japan's leading Oricon chart.

The album "Countdown" shot to the top of Oricon's daily chart on the day of its release on Wednesday.

EXO previously released two singles albums there.

The band will stage concerts in Osaka on Feb. 23 and 24.
