Feb. Box Office Receipts Post Sharp Drop
Published on | Source
Box office revenue in Seoul last month dropped sharply due to the lack of hit films outside of the blockbusters "The King and the Clown" and "Vampire Cop Ricky".
IM Pictures on Saturday said a report showed about four million people went to see a movie in February, down 36 percent from the same month last year and the first drop in seven months.
The share of domestic films last month, however, rose to 68.5 percent due to the absence of foreign blockbusters.
