Korean independent film "Old Partner" has been introduced on the front page of the Los Angeles Times.
The U.S. daily carried a detailed story on the success of the movie that attracted nearly three-million viewers and set a box-office record for independent films.
The report described the film as a fable about love, loyalty and rural Korean values and also a touching tale of a wife's jealously over the 40-year bond between her husband and a cow.
The paper added that a near-daily invasion of curious visitors has threatened the peaceful life of the elderly couple since the movie's January premier.
