According to Gangnam police, Kim was arrested on Wednesday night after a report from a woman saying she was sexually harassed by Kim on the streets of the affluent Nonhyun district south of the Han River.
Kim had apparently been drinking with friends that evening and is accused of grabbing the hand of a woman who was passing by on the streets and asking her to have sex with him for money.
Kim was apparently too drunk to talk properly when he was arrested and did not sober up for questioning until several hours later. He told police he had no memory of what happened.
This is not the singer's first run-in with the law. In 2005, he was involved in a hit-and-run accident while driving under the influence.
